About Our Founder Mike Reitzel
Mike Reitzel founded Cary Bookkeeping with a passion for helping others bring order and understanding to their financial lives. With a B.A. in Accounting and Business Management from Liberty University, Mike combines technical expertise with a genuine commitment to personalized service.
Before moving into accounting, Mike managed multimillion-dollar construction projects in southeastern Virginia. In that role, he oversaw budgets, coordinated contractors, and kept complex projects running on schedule.This experience sharpened his eye for detail and his ability to manage financial complexity with precision.
Several years ago, Mike shifted into the bookkeeping field to work more closely with the people he serves. He finds fulfillment in helping clients gain clarity about their finances, turning numbers into tools for growth and peace of mind.

Outside of work, Mike is a devoted husband and father of three. He enjoys home renovation projects and hands-on creative work, the same dedication and care he brings to every client relationship.
